Forgotten World - OffWorld

11:42 PM on April 14th, 2347, The Deep Space Mining reconnaissance spacecraft breached the atmosphere of XD-742. There was no doubt that civilization had thrived on the planet, but now the planet seemed desolate and overgrown. Something sudden and terrible had happened. The planet explorer had been sent to investigate a strange, powerful energy source that had been detected on the planet.

01:37 AM, April 15th, 2347, the exploration crew entered the ancient temple where the energy source seemed to originate from. It was not long before the crew realized that the source of energy came from what looked like an ancient portal. The portal must had laid dormant for centuries, but was now slowly gathering energy.

02:03 AM, April 15th, 2347, the exploration crew started their decent towards the portal. They did not know yet of the horrors that would meet them.
