Norlana River Crab

Excerpt from the Consortium book; Known & Unknown Creatures of Entonin, Volume III:
"...The Norlana River Crab is a massive crustacean that inhabits the rivers and waterways of the northern region of the Kingdom of Solarien near the port of Norlanis. These giant crabs can grow up to 15 feet in height and weigh as much as 5,000 pounds. They are primarily found in the slow-moving rivers and estuaries that are common in the region.
The Norlana River Crab is a formidable creature, with a hard, armored exoskeleton that is nearly impenetrable to most weapons. Its massive claws are capable of crushing the hulls of boats.
Despite their formidable appearance, Norlana River Crabs are relatively sluggish creatures and are not known to be aggressive towards humans. However, if they feel threatened or are disturbed while feeding, they can become extremely dangerous. Fishermen and boatmen in the area have learned to give the giant crabs a wide berth, and to avoid disturbing their feeding grounds.
If you were unfortunate enough to find yourself on the receiving end of a Norlana River Crab's wrath, the best course of action would be to flee. The crabs are slow and unwieldy on land and are not built for pursuit. However, if you are in a boat, be warned that these crabs can be quite fast and maneuverable in the water and they can damage the boat or capsize it if they catch up.
